​KidsGive is a scholarship program associated with Lawrence University. Our mission is to educate students in the U.S. about Sierra Leonean life and culture as well as to promote informed giving while providing children in Sierra Leone with the opportunity to learn and become the next great leaders of their generation. We achieve this mission through several different methods. At our core, we are an educational organization. Thus, a pillar of our group is the scholarship fund that goes to several kids from Sierra Leone every year. We also focus on education in the United States, KidsGive has given presentations at various schools in Wisconsin, Illinois, Minnesota, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, Florida, and Arkansas that focus on various aspects of Sierra Leone (e.g. culture, climate, history). We also provide opportunities for field research where students from Lawrence University have the opportunity to travel to Sierra Leone and conduct independent projects pertaining to their individual majors.
